I called Stephen Whealan Electric at 10pm and he came right over and diagnosed the problem. He returned early Sunday morning after picking up the necessary parts and resolved the issue. When inspecting our breaker he noticed that our home was not equipped with surge protection. He was informative and not pushy, and we had it installed in record time. He came to my home to fix a few overhead lights and - as part of his standard service - did a safety check of the 3 panels in the house, one of which is original (>40 years). He identified an issue with that one and gave me options for remediation with a written estimate. We scheduled the remediation for later this week. I’m impressed by Stephen’s detailed explanation of how these complex systems work, the range of options available and the pros/cons of each option, as well as his competitive pricing. Plus he showed up when he said he would which is not always the case among the trades. I plan to update this review after he completes the job. See more See less
